Fibromyalgia is a disorder that used to be called fibrositis that causes joints and muscle aches and pains along with fatigue.  People with fibromyalgia have chronic widespread pain, as well as “tender points” on the neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms, and legs, which hurt when slight pressure is applied.  Chronic muscle and joint pain that has no obvious physical cause is so common and follows a consistent pattern the term ‘fibrositis’ has been dropped the suffix ‘itis’ suggested inflammation which has never been demonstrated, as no other cause could be found even by means including microscopic examination of tissues. It is believed that the syndrome is caused b excessive sensitivity of the nerves that supply some soft tissues and their connections in the spinal cord and brain with resultant increased muscle tension that is aggravated if certain stages of sleep are disturbed, as they usually are in fibromyalgia.
People with fibromyalgia may also have symptoms, which usually develops slowly over months or years, often starting in one part of the body and gradually becoming more generalised, the characteristic symptoms such as :
Trouble sleeping, or inability to sleep well,
Morning stiffness,
Symptoms not relieved by rest or sleep,
Problems with thinking and memory (sometimes called “fibro fog”),
Irritable bowel syndrome.
May also have painful menstrual periods.
Depression, emotional or psychological distress.
The widespread pain that seems to come from joints and muscles affecting both sides of the body above and below the waist, difficult to interfere with regular activities and present on most days for over three months,
Increased sensitivity particularly to pressure of soft tissues around the skeleton, noted most conspicuously in specific area known as tender points in the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, buttocks and knees.
One may help by incorporating a few simple life-style changes into daily routine life and habits.
• Eliminate processed foods from the diet, especially white sugar and white flour products as over time may damage the digestion as well as cause obesity, one of the common problem related to fibromyalgia.
•Include foods, such as proteins, complex and unrefined carbohydrates, vegetables, whole grains and legumes(beans and bean products) especially soy based products.
•Avoid greasy foods, ice-cold drinks, alcohol, raw and uncooked foods, hot, coffee, and too much fruit. Avoid daily canned juice drinks.
•Stop drinking sodas. Sodas are acidic in nature and loaded with sugar and chemicals. Sodas are detrimental to both the spleen and the kidneys.
•Exercise that you really enjoy and just do it!
•Take a walk every day.
•Practice self massage every morning by stimulating or rubbing the hands to help promote the flow of Qi and blood in the channels.
•De-stress yourself.
This may be finding a new more supportive relationships. Understand that stress alone can kill you, and if you smoke and consume alcohol to escape stressful situations, you are making worst to it.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a condition in which a person has trouble paying attention and focusing on tasks. It may begin in early childhood and can continue into adulthood. These terms refer to certain types of troublesome behaviour that cause a child to underachieve academically and behave poorly, inspite of receiving a good intellect and receiving quality parenting. Without treatment, ADHD can cause problems at home, school, work, and with relationships. ADHD was once called attention deficit disorder (ADD).
Symptoms : Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may include:
Inattention, which is having a short attention span and being easily distracted, forgets instructions quickly, flits from task to task.
Impulsivity, which can cause a person to do dangerous or unwise things without thinking about the consequences, also is short tempered.
Hyperactivity, which is inappropriate or excessive activity, restlessness, fidgeting, inability to keep still.
These symptoms affect people in all age groups who have ADHD. But typical behavior varies by age.
In preschool-age children, symptoms may be hard to identify. Normal behavior in young children periodically includes all of the major symptoms. ADHD is distinguished from normal behavior by the severity and consistency of symptoms. The presence of ADHD may be indicated by:
Low grades or test scores, including achievement tests.
 Poor organization and study skills.
Socialization problems and feeling rejected by peers.
Dislike of school and frustration with school work.
 Messiness, social clumsiness.
 Mood swings, instability (never satisfied;nags)
Specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, which involves problems with language, reading, writing and maths.
Teens between the ages of 13 and 18 may be in better control of disruptive behavior related to hyperactivity. Other problems that began in earlier years may continue or become worse when ADHD is not treated. Teens with inattention problems who previously managed to cope may start to fall behind in schoolwork. This is especially true when major changes occur, such as starting at a new school or going to college.
Symptoms of ADHD in adults may not be as noticeable. Many adults with ADHD have not been diagnosed and treated. These people can develop problems such as depression and difficulty maintaining a job.
There are several other conditions with symptoms similar to ADHD. For example, sometimes bipolar disorder and ADHD can be confused. It can be difficult to determine whether symptoms are caused by ADHD, another condition, or both.
These symptoms can be reduced or overcome by a calm environment at home and at school; following a regular daily routine, firm but flexible discipline, clear, simple communication and protection of their self esteem.
